First Golf Fixture of the Term – Super Sixes at Cooden Beach

Last Wednesday marked the first fixture of the term for the Buckswood Golf Academy, travelling to local lynx course Cooden Beach to participate in this years Super Sixes;

“We took 6 talented golfers 2 of which had handicaps and 4 who are still learning the game. The golfers were placed into pairs and faced 2 pairs from local schools; William Parker, St. Leonards Academy and St. Richards.” Added Mr Fitchett, Golf Academy Director at Buckswood.

“The golfers and great rounds of the make shift 6 hole course with Andrew Jones and Will Kendall Scoring the lowest card of the game with an impressive 19 shots” said Mr Fitchett.

Buckswood finished second place out of 4 with St. Richards retaining their crown for top spot. “We are immensely proud of the students with local school teachers commenting on how impressed they were with our ability, politeness and willingness to encourage others” added Mr Fitchett.
