SPIRITUALITY
‘Spiritual’ is not synonymous with ‘religion’. At Buckswood, spiritual development is characterised by reflection through the understanding of valuing a non-material dimension to life, and you will find that all areas of the curriculum will contribute to a scholars’ spiritual development. We want individuals to have the opportunities to reflect on life’s fundamental questions and ‘special moments’ in their lives. Scholars need to be well informed so that they can ask questions and form opinions.
We live in such a busy world that we want our students to take full advantage of the beautiful campus on which we live and to find time for themselves, without their phones, so that they can find ‘balance’ which in turn will help them be wiser individuals.
