Rugby Academy
For students who wish to take their rugby to the next level, the Buckswood Rugby Academy offers high-level training twice per week (Monday & Saturday) with experienced coaches, specialist drills, and match preparation. The Academy is open to boys and girls of all ages, with players grouped by age and ability for safety and progression.
The Academy focuses on:
- Technical and tactical skill development
- Position-specific and contact training
- Fitness, strength, and conditioning
- Competitive fixtures against schools, clubs, and academies
- Pathways for representative rugby at club, county, and international levels
Prices: £150 per term. Places are subject to availability and student commitment. Some specialist sessions, masterclasses, competitions or trips may incur an additional fee.
A Legacy of Excellence
Though a relatively small school, Buckswood has a strong rugby history. We’ve toured internationally, including annual trips to Georgia, and have reached the finals in regional competitions. The programme has produced players who have gone on to represent Sussex, Harlequins, Poland, France, and multiple national youth squads across Europe.
