Performing Arts

At Buckswood School, we offer an enriching Performing Arts programme starting from the Junior School (KS3). Our Performing Arts course provides students with a comprehensive introduction to both the practical and theoretical aspects of performing arts. This engaging programme is designed to uncover the secrets of excelling on stage, setting students on a path towards achieving internationally recognised Drama and LAMDA qualifications. Through a variety of performing arts opportunities (including termly musical theatre productions) and school competitions, students not only hone their skills but also gain confidence and stage presence from an early age.

As students progress, Drama becomes available as a GCSE option, where the curriculum expands to include deeper theatrical knowledge and more complex performances. In all year groups, students have the opportunity to take individual or small group LAMDA lessons.
