MUN

At Buckswood, we actively participate in Model United Nations (MUN), organising annual trips to conferences where students from around the globe discuss current global issues. Our MUN teams meet throughout the term to prepare position papers, honing their researching, public speaking, debating, and writing skills, alongside developing critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities.

Participation in MUN not only deepens students’ understanding of their academic subjects but also enhances their university applications and resumes. By including MUN experiences in their UCAS statements, Buckswood students can showcase their broadened perspectives and skills, making them more attractive candidates for higher education and future employment opportunities
