LAMDA
At Buckswood, we are proud to offer LAMDA (London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art) lessons to all students, with an emphasis on participation for our Sixth Form students as part of their educational programme. These lessons cover a range of disciplines from acting to public speaking and reading for performance, providing valuable opportunities to enhance articulation, confidence, and effective communication skills.
For Sixth Form students, engaging in LAMDA lessons is particularly beneficial as they prepare for university interviews, public speaking engagements, and other professional interactions. LAMDA qualifications are highly regarded and can significantly enhance a student’s UCAS application, demonstrating their proficiency in communication and performance.
LAMDA lessons at Buckswood are delivered by experienced instructors in a supportive and positive environment, designed to be engaging and challenging. This initiative not only helps students develop clear speech and confident body language but also builds self-esteem and the ability to communicate ideas with clarity.
