This year Buckswood will be offering two Performing Arts Clubs for those students in Key Stage 3 and 4 whom have a particular talent and interest in performing.
BAPA (Buckswood Academy of Performing Arts) will take place for two hours every week, starting on Wednesday 23rd September at 3:50 - 5:45 pm for KS4 (students in Forms 4 and 5) and Thursday 24th September at 3:50 - 5:45 pm for KS3 (students in Forms 1, 2 and 30. The cost is just £5 per week (£60 per term) and students will be working toward a production in the summer of 2021. We already have students signed up but still have some spaces available, so if is interested, please complete this form and come and join the fun!

In addition to this, we continue to offer 1-2-1 music lessons as listed below and also now offer 1-2-1 acting lessons for all students in the school.
Acting lessons will give students the opportunity to develop their dramatic skills by working on both classical and modern scripts and they will even have the opportunity to be entered for an examination with LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) in the Summer term.
These exams are highly regarded and are a great addition to a CV, the higher grades even gain UCAS points which may be invaluable when the time comes to apply for university.

We hope that your child will take the opportunity to develop their skills by getting involved in the performing arts classes we continue to offer.
