Buckswood School is keen to encourage those students who excel and can flourish within our environment as well as help to encourage others in their field of expertise.
Applicants are required to complete an English and Maths paper, and an interview with the Head Teacher. One scholarship of 75% is awarded per year, with awards of lesser amountssubject to the performances on the day, up to 50%.
The scholarship will be reviewed annually and if the student does not maintain an EffortAverage below 2.2, based on three terms’ work, the school reserves the right to withdrawthe award. Effort grades (1–5 descending) are issued alongside Achievement grades (A–E)at the end of the official Assessment Weeks (noted in the School Calendar), which takeplace roughly every 4–5 weeks depending on the term’s length.
BURSARIES
Buckswood School has a bursary fund which has been allocated for those local UK studentswho would benefit from a Buckswood education, but who may require some financialassistance. In order for an application to be considered the following information shouldbe provided:
• The Bursary Application
• A covering letter stating the reasons for applying
• Copy of supporting financial documentation as required.

SIBLING DISCOUNTS
A Sibling discount of 15% is available. The discount expires once the first student graduates,with the remaining student reverting to full fees. Discounts for further siblings are availableon request from Mr Fish.
