We are continuing to offer 1-2-1 music lessons as listed below and also now offer 1-2-1 acting/performing lessons for all students in the school.

This year Buckswood will be offering two Performing Arts Clubs for those students in Key Stage 3 and 4 whom have a particular talent and interest in performing. BAPA (Buckswood Academy of Performing Arts) will take place twice a week, in the hopes of working towards a production in the summer of 2024. If you are interested, please complete this form and come join in on the fun!

Acting lessons will give students the opportunity to develop their performance/dramatic skills by working on both classical and modern scripts and they will even have the opportunity to be entered for an examination with LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts) in the Summer term.

If students are not keen on the dramatic arts, LAMDA also focuses on communication skills such as public speaking and performance reading – useful for 6th Form students looking to build on their interview skills for a job or university. These exams are highly regarded and are a great addition to a CV, the higher grades even gain UCAS points which may be invaluable when the time comes to apply for university.

We hope that your child will take the opportunity to develop their skills by getting involved in the performing arts classes we continue to offer.
