Meet the Head Teacher

Mr Mark Redsell
I am delighted to announce that Mark Redsell has been appointed as Head teacher.

Mark has been in Educational Management for over 15 years. Graduating from Nottingham University with honours in Archaeology he
moved into teaching in 1992.

He is also in the final stages of a Masters degree in Educational Leadership & Management which will compliment his practical experience. His international experience ranges from living and working in many different environments such as Japan, Spain, the Sultanate of Oman, the UAE and lately the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In Riyadh, Mark was responsible for the management of the Preparatory year at King Saudi University, the Middle East's oldest and largest university, and in the U.A.E he was the Operations Manager of a large American group of language schools.

Widely traveled Mark understands the international ethos and as a former boarder his comprehension of school life is in accordance with Buckswood.

As a keen sportsman, Mark was involved in many sports at university level including swimming, and keeps himself fit when time allows. Mark is married with 2 children and is looking forward to moving to Sussex.
