Cricket

With a number of specialist cricket coaches, Buckswood are proud to offer an extensive cricket curriculum throughout the summer term. The students have the opportunity to taster cricket for the first time and also play regularly through local cup competitions and county trials.

We have a number of teams that represent the school against other schools, these include;

U13
U14 A + B
U15 A + B
U16 A + B

1st Team
We encourage participation through evening and weekend ‘net’ sessions and inter-school matches throughout the week. We also have links with clubs locally, these range from Village to League Club Cricket.
Each year we also offer a Cricket Tour to Holland where each player can experience club level cricket in a different culture; The Holland Tour will visit the cities of Bloemendaal, Amsterdam and The Hague. This tour is on offer to U14 cricketers during the Summer Half Term.
