Posistion: Science
My fascination for chemistry began when my father bought me a chemistry set at the age of seven and we performed experiments on the kitchen table (much to my mothers disgust!) Later on I had a "mini laboratory" in the cellar of our home, where i would disappear mos tevenings!
I won a scholarship to cheltenham College, where I took A-Level in physics, Maths and Further Maths. I then won.
A schoarship to St. John's College, Oxford where I gained a BA degree in chemistry, and then went on to study for a MA, publishing thesis on "photoelectron Spectroscopy of groups V Halides". I have taugh in six different schools during my 27 year career as a science and chemistry/physics teacher. I never tire of teaching the subject, nor of learning the advances being made in science and technology day by day.
