  The pastoral care
Buckswood offers an environment in which pupils are happy in their studies. There is a framework of parameters within which pupils have to operate in their daily lives: the boundaries are clearly designated and there is a robust system of sanctions and reward. The residential Headteacher leads the pastoral support, ably assisted by Housemasters and Housemistresses. It is essential for the triangle of pupil, parents and school to communicate effectively throughout a child’s time at Buckswood in order to provide a stable and nurturing platform for continued academic success.
