1. Buckswood puts 120 students through GCSE/'A' Level foreign language exams.
2. The Accounting teacher has been the chief examiner of the national examinations for 'A' level Accounting since 1996 and has recently been appointed the chief examiner for the new government supported Diploma in Business, Administration and Finance.
3. The average A-C pass rate for Years 10/11 has been 70% for the last 5 years. The national average is 58%.
4. Buckswood’s First Team football squad is drawn from eight different countries.

6. Whilst testing the power of his shot, one of our footballers missed the target with the ball but his shoe flew off and registered 9 mph!
7. Buckswood’s on-campus stables is home to eight horses.
8. One of our female footballers turned down a deal from an English League club as she thought them very disorganized.
9. Our students participate in 20 different categories at the prestigious annual Hastings Music Festival.
10. Many of the names used in the national examination questions for the Accounting A level and written by the accounting teacher are based on students from Buckswood. Their names have also been used in the new textbook!
